How do I get the German VAT back for deliveries to Switzerland?
If you order from our online store and have specified Switzerland as your billing and delivery address, we do not charge German VAT. You then only have to pay the VAT due in Switzerland; for higher product values, customs duties may be added. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any further information on this, but you can ask the Swiss authorities about the exact procedure, for example at the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security.
If you have our products delivered to an address in Germany and then bring them across the border yourself, the corresponding Swiss fees such as VAT and possibly also customs duties will apply directly at the border. You can get more detailed information at the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security.
In any case, you should print out our invoice and have it stamped with the form – this serves as proof that you have exported our products. If you then send us back the stamped original invoice and the completed form, we can refund the German VAT.
